Hands-on Workshop: Assessing Strength Qualities with Force Plates
Potom preskúmame celý rad metód testovania maximálnej produkcie izometrickej sily vo viac-kĺbových cvičeniach, produkcie balistickej sily (t. j. pomalé SSC) a produkcie reaktívnej/plyometrickej sily (t. j. rýchle SSC).
Ďalej preskúmame výhody a nevýhody rôznych metód vrátane diskusie o tom, ako by sa tieto rôzne metódy hodnotenia mali kombinovať, aby sa atlétovi poskytol holistický silový profil. Workshop bude praktický, aby účastníci mohli získať cenné skúsenosti a prehľad o konkrétnych testovacích postupoch. Vďaka partnerstvu na tomto workshop s Hawking Dynamics si búdú môcť všetci účastníci, vyskúšať jednotlivé testy aj priamo na sebe!
Assessing Strength Qualities
This workshop will commence with a summary of why both maximal and rapid force production are required for enhanced sports performance. We will then explore a range of methods of assessing maximal multi-joint isometric force production, ballistic force production (i.e., slow stretch shortening cycle) and reactive / plyometric force production (i.e., fast stretch shortening cycle).
Advantages and disadvantages of different methods will be explored, including a discussion of how these different assessment methods should be combined to provide a holistic force profile for the athlete. The workshop will be hands on so that attendees can gain valuable experience and insight into specific testing procedures.
